Winter invites us to savour the beauty of the season’s quiet moments. As the days grow shorter and the air turns cold, there’s something magical about the simple comforts that this time of year brings. It’s a season filled with warmth, simple pleasures, and an opportunity to enjoy the little things that make winter feel special.
This winter I’ve been celebrating the season with a sweet yet simple take on charcuterie, perfect for cozy evenings or gatherings with loved ones. I love pairing the McGuire Chocolate Company’s rich, artisanal chocolate bars and other treats with fresh flowers from Galbraith Florist, creating a charming spread that’s as pleasing to the eyes as it is to the taste buds.
Our plates and small plates are perfect for serving these treats, and the handmade wooden serving board from TUCK Studio adds a natural, rustic touch that ties everything together beautifully. To add a subtle festive feel, I’ve incorporated a patterned tea towel from Linen Tales, whose design brings just the right amount of seasonal charm without overwhelming the scene. These thoughtful details help set the tone for a cozy, inviting atmosphere that captures the essence of winter.
